nonono I use frenzy. Frenzied defense is my cancel stance. Then I use heal sig. That way my teammates never die.

hehe funny story. One guy left in RA so another guy left and I was playing monk, the other kid was playing Star Burst Ele. I was bonder/SB and it was 2v4. I knew we were going to lose but the Ele was staying and I like to see how long I can surivive, and I my build was eh cause i had no one to bond so I gained no energy =/. So the Ele takes out the interupting ranger and i'm like...hmmm maybe we have a chance. So then I die, I get rezzed, after i guess 7 minutes the Ele kills them all!!! I was proud. Told I was amazing.

I never leave, plenty of times I've had guys leave and I've taken on the other team myself. Once I nearly even killed one guy but the monk on his team arrives and heals him before I could finish him off

oh you can't leave. playing that 3v4 brings out all the fun, cuz you can mess around as much as you like and as long as it looks like you're doing something, no one really complains. so when it's 3v4 and you're on the diminished team, run straight thru the lava river or try to lure the other team into the 3 traps you put in the poison pool. the odds are against you anyway, so why not play around with it?

I usually stay..though there were a couple of teams when like EVERYONE left, my team and the opposing team. So I won without doing a thing That was the most awesomest xD
i stay if it's 3v4 even it's hopeless, I may or may not leave if it's 2v4, depends on who i'm with and the mood I'm in. I might leave "early," and that's only when everyone else is dead (including me) and the person left doesn't have a res and the other team has more people on their side.
I have won a couple of glad points with no monk and I've gotten far with no healers...went to 7 wins with a shroud assassin, a toucher, and a fire ele (me as sin) before we got creamed. But it was fun. And the last match was a doozy, we all made kills it was just a matter of who died first on which side and who was able to res. It was close.
What I DON'T like is when the OTHER team who obviously have the advantage become jerks about it.
And then there's the issue of people who DON'T leave o_O And i think everyone knows what I mean: last person runner.
The rest of their team had left and the player just runs around while the rest of my team (either all or even just one person who can easily take him) gives chase. Sure, maybe one of us should have had a snare, but usually it's not going to happen. At most you'll have 4 different classes o.O the split up and pincer move will work..for like few seconds before the person runs past again. So instead of either letting us kill him or fighting back while we kill him or even just leaving, they just run around for maybe 10 minutes, causing MY team to leave.
There was a shadow form sin who all he did was survive. He just used echo shadow form and unfortunately none of us had touch skills or signets. So we couldn't touch him. In the end it was just me and him as everyone from both sides had left. And then he left. So i'm like "wtf o.O"
I have a tendency to stick it out against a "tanker" as I gamble on the hope that the other person will leave and i get the ultimate win. Especially if they can't do damage.
It's just rather annoying.
And I think there have been more leavers lately o.O Or I think it's a time phase thing. The other day I was playing in the wee hours of the morning and I noticed more instant leavers than when I play in the afternoon. it's weird.

Yesterday I entered and immediately had a leaver, luckily the other team did too, but we must have both been in the same mindset cus nobody else left after that. It was a hard slog, but eventually me, an incredible E/A spike ele and a Warrior pulled through.
In the next round we got a Necro.. who turned out to have flesh golem.. (?!?!)
The funny thing is, we trounced everyone in our way, even 2 monk teams and teams with pretty hefty rit spirit support. We got a glad point and won a couple of battles in TA before getting stomped by a melandru spike. BOOOO!

and that's ALWAYS the greatest feeling evah
oh I forgot another story.
So we had a team that got to 7 wins, but then one of our teammates had to leave (not the monk whoo.) We get a mesmer and she learns that we had had several wins before she joined. The match starts, she says "good luck" and leaves. We were just "..WTF."
And the one who left dealt at least half of the damage. Me and my other teammate tried but the other team was pretty high on the damage and disabled our monk completely. We couldn't give enough damage output to take down their monk and protect our own at the same time.
So yeah, people who leave after learning the team has had wins already is just rude. They could at least wait until AFTER the match (win or lose) before leaving. It won't kill their time. I've had teams that actually stayed after they got the glad point to win a couple of games so the one who came in late also got a glad. It's more possible if they're only a game or two late, but it's also fun beating TA and other RA teams that made it to TA.

well, looks like my leaving days are over. all things must come to an end, unfortunately. the new system is a mixed bag, but generally in favor of the greater good.
EDIT: yea i stay w/o a healer now, unless team obviously sucks, then i leave when match is finished...no dishonor there
